Engineer Our Future

We believe in the future. By helping local manufacturers and utilities do what they do better, we are investing ourselves in them and in the future of our community. Engineered systems and processes will not bring a bright future by themselves. A bright future is dependent on bright people.

We put our beliefs into practice in many ways. One of those ways is by making an investment in our region's young people. Early in 2008 we conceived, in conjunction with one of our customers and in partnership with WorkOne of Southwest Indiana, the idea of providing a network to link college-aged engineering students with local opportunities.

To accomplish our vision we realized that we needed to start with high school students. Our banquet is a first of its kind opportunity for high school aged, engineering bound, students to meet and network with area employers. Students enrolled in the Engineer Our Future program will have additional opportunities to network. Regional internship and co-op opportunities will provide students the opportunity to gain experience and earn college money while holding down expenses by living at home.
